Tale of 2 halfs
Seemingly the right size, and features. but it never went quite right.
Firstly, it's as comfy as you need, and well made - and this may be enough for you.
However I have several issues with this pack.
Firstly - it's main compartment is small, it feels way smaller than my wife's cheaper 25+5 pack. Partly because the main compartment has the freeflow back intruding and it misshapes the pack considerably, the curve on the back is massive and makes the main compartment all contorted. It's smaller than any 25L i've seen, and difficult to pack because of the intrusion.
Second - 2L hydration. well it's so tight! again because of the curve of the freeflow, both vertically and horizontally, and the pouch is so small! I can only get my 2L bladder into it, if I take 0.2L out of the bladder, making it a 1.8L hydration pack. Beware, the bladder pouch is very very small :-(
Third - the rain cover, I checked it existed, but that all - more fool me. Well the seams are not taped, so it pours in through when wet. How stupid is that? My wife's packs cover, is one part - no seams. Ok, her's looks cheaper - not tailored like the berghaus, but at least it's waterproof.
Overall, excellent quality, comfy, but ever so problematic and disappointing. Would not recommend this pack.

Best Multi-Sport Daysac yet
Perfect fit and size for a multitude of sports!
Since purchase the pac has accomanied me on Hill walks, climbs and has become my standard equipment for daily cycle commute to work.
Adjustable back system ensures super comfortable secure fit with great weight distribution in all situations,
Size and shape of pack allows quick easy access to contents and huge head pocket is great for frequently used items.
Attention to design detail means no flappy straps and good compression, rain cover is a real bonus but features the only minor niggle I can find with this pack, fiddly "Larks Foot" attachment would be improved with a snap clip for ease of removal and drying.
"5/5 Must have been designed by a sportsman"

Ideal summer daysac
At last, a small sac with a proper hip belt and that is long enough for a near six-footer. With a very adjustable back it should suit anyone. This sac takes all my day's gear with ease: full waterproofs, spare fleece, hydration bladder, hat, gloves, 1st aid, food, flask in side pocket and does not seem over-filled. Capacious top pocket and a good rain cover. A bit heavy for its size perhaps but seems very robust and it is very comfortable.
