    This jacket is stylish and light weight and is ideally suited to a windy day at the crag or a warm day out ski touring. But I found on my recent expedition to Northern India it was a little too light weight to be of use. I wore it in temperatures down to 0degCelsius, but needed a warmer jacket when the temp dropped beneath freezing. I did wear it on the walk in and our from Basecamp with a light layer underneath and for this it was perfect. Back in New Zealand i have used it for spring ski touring, again with a single layer underneath.For this it is ideal- wind resistant, and its water-shedding properties mean it can cope with my plummets in the snow. I love the cut, fitting and stylish, although, as with some of the other Berghause womens jacket, I find it a little tight around the top of the arm/ armpit. I also appreciate how compact it is - I can easily stuff it in the top pocket of my rock climbing pack 25 November 2010
