    Poor Grip These shoes are rather narrow so you may need to buy the next size up. Shoes are very comfortable but have terrible grip on wet surfaces; quite dangerous infact. 22 December 2011

    Berghaus Cuesta Shoes (Beluga) Great shoes - your feet really do feel protected and divorced from rough terrain underfoot. Very good lacing system , you can have them as loose or as tight as you like , tension checks automatically with the double holes in plastic plate at the top of the shoe. They look a serious walking shoe without the fiddly unnecessary details you find on other shoes- restrained functional colours with "beluga" .Good rubber rands partly around shoe. Very good traction, feel as though you could walk forever in them , they certainly encourage you to walk further than you originally proposed as your feet are beautifully cosseted. Excellent value - may buy another pair in case they are discontinued. 07 October 2010
